Wow! It's My Blogoversary!

Stopped into Joe's place here and discovered that it is his blogoversary!  I think that calls for a cannoli! I had no idea.  Does that mean I have too many blogs?

I'm afraid the Italian lines have been ignored as of late.  You know how it is.  Sometimes you just have to put some ancestors to bed for awhile and go wake another one up.

However, a while back I did talk to his cousin Joe Mangiafico.  I know.  How confusing is that to have a cousin with the same name?

Cousin Joe immigrated with his parents and siblings in December of 1955 on the ship Roma.

They were staying with Joe's mom and dad for a while.  During this time Joe was in a school for delinquents.  Cousin Joe and his family hadn't been in the U.S. very long when he was awaken in the middle of the night by some type of officers aiming guns at him.  It seems that Joe had escaped the school.  I think he quickly assured them he wasn't the Joe Mangiafico they were looking for.
